Who We Are
Violeta Padrón, TLI's director, is originally from Spain. She has an undergraduate degree in English from the University of Seville, in Seville, Spain and a PhD in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is the former director of the Wake Forest University semester in Spain program and has over 15 years of experience as an educator and freelance translator. Violeta has taught at major universities and at local schools and organizations. She lives in West Toledo with her husband and two children.
